Starting a new and fulfilling life in a different country, where extraordinary talents and gifts are acknowledged and appreciated, is something that many exceptionally gifted people dream of but have difficulty in finding the perfect opportunity to use their talents and skills in a country where their rights are respected and protected and their work is highly rewarded. If you are one of those extraordinarily talented individuals and would like to be part of what is known as “Brain Drain to America”, you should know that there is a series of special rules that apply when exceptionally gifted people such as yourself wish to emigrate to America. You can prove your extraordinary professional skills and be given the opportunity to emigrate without waiting many years to have such an amazing opportunity.

The fact that America is the land of opportunity or the promise land may sound like a cliché, but this is the reality. And it is just as real that this process of brain drain to America has been responsible for the country’s greatest competitive advantages. The spectacular growth that this country has seen over such a short period of time is partly due to the process of brain drain. It is a well known fact that immigrants have played a major role in helping the United States gain the competitive advantages it has now. And it was especially the immigrants with high levels of skill and education that have contributed to the growth of the U.S. economy in general, and to that of the dynamic high tech sector in particular. Furthermore, over 25% of America’s global patent applications are due to immigrant inventors who have chosen to be part of the “Brain Drain to America” process. And, as opposed to most other countries, America does repay all exceptionally talented people who decide to use their skills for the benefit of this extraordinary nation.

Most Eastern European countries have seen a brain drain to America or the western European countries following the fall of the communist regime in the last decade of the 20th century. Russia offers one of the clearest examples of how numerous exceptionally gifted individuals have chosen to leave abroad on long-term missions. Highly trained and skilled computer programmers, physicists, chemists and biologists were in high demand and there is little wonder why the brain drain to America has undergone such an ascending trend considering the overwhelming difference in average monthly wages between Russia and western countries.

All in all, American lawmakers have acknowledged the importance of attracting the brightest minds in every field of human endeavor and have made it possible for such high achievers and their families to emigrate to the United States. Leaving your country and settling in the United States can be a difficult and strenuous process. However, if you seek the help and assistance of a specialized law firm, your emigration process will become considerably easier and you will soon benefit from all the advantages that derive from living and working in a country where your unique skills and talents are recognized and appreciated at their true value.
