The newest hit in television is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It is called the Eleventh Hour TV show and it truly is awesome in the fullest sense of that word. The show follows the exploits of one Dr. Hood who works for the government and is called upon whenever there is some strange science going on. Some hideous science induced crimes such as cloning or what not.

You might not know if it was hard to follow because you were falling asleep or because it was so interesting that you had to play it over and over again. The centrality of science in this show may turn off some people who can’t follow the techno babble very closely. That just shows that this show isn’t for the mentally challenged. Think of it as CSI and X-files. But it has more in common with X-files actually, even though there nothing paranormal happening in the show. The strange goings, though have deep scientific explanations, are never the less so mysterious, eerie, and frightening. It’s scary because there are big implications and changes in our perception of reality that are touched upon by the mysteries that. What the show in the end puts into effect is a kind of end of days and affair where science is screwing up with our lives and becomes an ominous tool in the wrong hands or becomes a force for chaos on its own.

There are some very creepy things that happen in the episode of the Eleventh Hour TV show. For example, in the first episode, there was a crime scene were I think around twenty bodies of infants were found disposed in the ground. The police were looking for a criminal, but then Dr. Hood enters and tells the investigator the eerie thing that all the babies had identical DNA. In some other episode there was some nanofilm that was spreading and eating the skin of this woman who wanted to conduct an experiment as a way to alleviate her guilt and for memorializing her husband.

The chemistry between the two main characters is also central to the show. Hood has Rachel as a sounding board. Rachel is also the character used as an excuse for Hood to explain things, and explain it to the audience in the process, so it is very useful in that regard.

I have to mention it, Hood and Rachel chemistry. He explains things to her in a way that she understands and even apologizes when he's talking and she's not following. It's so nice to hear Hood tell her personal anecdotes and she's so eager to listen to him. He responds to her stories as well and it makes the relationship believable.

After the first few episodes, the Eleventh Hour TV show has really matured in terms of script writing, direction, acting, and even editing. The plots and the themes are getting more menacing and whole. There are more scientific horrors in store for us.
