In today's "I want to make money online" world, there are so many different ways to get started that when you actually sit down to decide how to go about achieving this goal, it becomes very overwhelming. The truth is, there are literally thousands of ways to make some "real money online" out there, some methods being harder than others. In this article, I will discuss one method that I feel is one of the fastest and easiest ways to make money, and that is, selling Information Products.
First, let's talk about what information products are. Simply put, information products can be books, e-books, mp3's, CD's or even DVD's that contain useful information that people are willing to pay for.
The beauty about information products is that practically anyone can make and sell them. There are typically two ways to go about starting this potentially very lucrative venture:
One way is to find out what topics are hot right now. You can do this by using Google keywords, Google analyzer, Keyword Tracker and other search engine tools. After finding out what's popular, find someone who knows a lot about this topic (an expert). Try to schedule a interview of some sort with him/her to get as much useful information from them as possible. If possible, see if your interview can take place over the phone, have this phone interview recorded (this can be done fairly cheap, do a Google search on free conference call services for more info).
Once you have this recording done, the possibilities are endless. You will now be able to offer this very helpful information to people who are eager to pay for this knowledge. This recording can be everything from a $1.99 download to an $15 book or e-book, the option is yours. If you can't find an expert or anyone also to talk to, you can conduct the research yourself. Just do a Google search on your topic, and start reading! You will probably be able to find viewer's and all sorts of information. You can also try a Google search on more than one phrase pertaining to your topic.
The second way you can go about selling information products is very similar to the first one, but instead of you finding out what's hot, you take whatever you are good at or love to do and create your own recordings based off of things that you already know. This will save you a lot of research, time and money; considering you don't have to pay someone for an interview. Some may disagree with this method because it is more risky then the first method. All you have to do know is find where to market your talent. You can also do this by using Google keywords, Google analyzer, Keyword Tracker and other search engine tools as mentioned before. This will tell you what phrases people are searching for and how many searches a day they are getting. Another great way is Article Marketing.
I personally prefer the second method; what a great feeling it is to turn your own talent or something you truly love to do into dollars, and information products is a great way to do it.
