Surrounded by the Mediterranean in the north and cushioned by the Sahara in the south, Algeria offers tourists an extraordinary array of attractions. It has 1200 km of coastline, and its villages and cities are packed with the country's rich historical and cultural heritage.

You can go down towards the Sahara and experience one of the most beautiful deserts in the world. It has an assortment of landscapes, from dunes to oases and mountains. You can also just roam around cities like Algiers and sample the country's cuisine diversity, traditional clothing and jewellery.

If you are one of those people who will like to go to a destination with a difference for a holiday, Algeria may just be the place for you. Today this town has become the centre for Algeria's theatre and it features many cinemas.

This helps in both conserving the environment as well as sustaining the livelihood of local people. Owing to the open landscape and its great biodiversity, ecotourism in Algeria is perfect. Many large parts of Algeria have been stated as protected areas and there is a huge network of National Parks all round the country. There is no doubt in the fact that you should just not miss the adventures of Algeri's ecotourism.
