Nestled amongst the hill tops of Cyprus are some old farm cottages that have been converted to holiday homes and some are now available to rent directly from their owners. Further down the slopes are some magnificent holiday villas, many complete with their own swimming pools. In some of the towns, there are now many self catering holiday apartments available to chose from.

The clean beaches are popular with tourists wanting to sunbath and enjoy the water sports. Holiday homes are now a popular form of accommodation and some stunning holiday villas are now available to rent near the long sandy beaches. Tourists on a beach holiday enjoy the swimming, sailing, scuba and diving. The sandy beaches are edged by the sparkling clear Mediterranean sea.

The local food is popular with holiday makers staying in self catering apartments and in Cyprus there is an abundance of fresh and delicious traditional drinks.
Many tourists come back to rent holiday villas just to re sample the famous mouth-watering local cuisine of this magical island.

Rustic villages give holiday makers the feeling of stepping back in time and yet just a few miles away are the modern cities of Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos. Old holiday cottages are dotted around these rustic villages and yet just a few minutes away in the cities are self catering holiday apartments. It is no wonder that Cyprus has become one of the most popular tourist destinations for people wanting holiday villas.
