When you are on the lookout to get the autographed CD that you want, you have to not only be perceptive to look for when a singer may be in your area, but you also have to be determined.
There are several ways that you can get autographed CDs, and here are just a few.

1. Go to a Concert

Concerts are excellent places to get autographed CDs for a number of reasons. First of all, there are often booths set up that sell memorabilia from the singer, including autographed CDs. In reality, this is one of the easiest ways to get autographed CDs as it takes up the least amount of effort, however it is probably the most expensive way to do it as well.

If you are not into paying high rates for an autographed CD, then you can try other methods at the concert. The best of these is too simply see if you can get backstage for an autograph, or to wait outside the doors from the stadium where the singer will come out of, so you can ask for an autograph.

The problem with this is that they may or may not stop to even sign anything for you. It depends on the kind of person that you are dealing with and whether or not they have a large ego.

That being said, just because they don't sign anything, it does not mean they are egotistical. It could mean they are simply too busy or are just concentrating on the show.

2. Record Store Appearance

Often, in the promotion of a new album, a singer will appear at a record store as a publicity stunt, where they will sign copies of their new CD. This is one of the easiest ways to get the autographed CD, but it is also one of the toughest because you are competing with hundreds, if not thousands of other people to get into the record store. However, unlike at a concert, the singer is there to sign the CD for you and if you get in, you are nearly guaranteed a chance to get your CD signed by your favorite singer.

3. eBay

Before the days of eBay, collectors had to go conventions to get the autographs that they wanted. However, these days, you can get an autographed CD from nearly any singer just by visiting eBay.

On there, you will find several different CDs for the same singer, and no matter who your favorite singer, you will be able to get the CD you want. This is probably the easiest way to get the CD because you can do it from home, and you probably won't pay as much as you would at a concert. If you are looking at getting an autographed CD, this is the method to try first. Getting autographed CDs does not have to be difficult, and by knowing where to look and how to get them, you can get the CDs you are hoping for quickly and easily.
