It's the New Year! And one of your new resolutions is to quit smoking. Like the millions upon millions of smokers out there, you have literally tried everything to help you quit smoking and nothing seems to work. Perhaps this year, you may want to try acupuncture. Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese practice that utilizes tiny needles at certain pressure points in the skin to treat certain diseases and disorders. There's a belief that by using the needles at certain points in the body, it may be possible to help the person stop smoking. Based on this information, more and more smokers each year are making appointments with acupuncture specialists, with the hope of quitting this nasty and expensive habit once and for all.

Millions of people every year try to quit smoking using the patch, hypnosis, chewing gum and anything else they can get their hands on. Unfortunately, these same people end up with that smoking happen again as soon as they stop using that program. That doesn't mean that the person is a loser just because the program didn't work for them. It's not their lack of will power nor their worthiness as a person.
