You can't visit Disney and not experience the great variety nightlife they have to offer. Located in Downtown Disney is a place called "Pleasure Island" and the name fits the place perfectly. This is the true Disney for adults. "Pleasure Island" is a 6 acre island consisting of numerous bars, clubs, dance halls and shops.
The shops are open from 10am until 2am whereas the clubs open their doors at 7pm and don't close until 2am, so let the party animal inside of you out!
You can access Pleasure Island for free during the day but the clubs require a ticket to gain access in the evening. However, if you have purchased the 5 Day World Hopper then this entitles you to access to every night club on Pleasure Island. The night clubs open early in the evening and they don't close the doors until the early morning.
Tickets can be purchased separately if you do not have a 5 Day World Hopper. You would simply have to enquire about the venues you are interested in visiting. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance to Pleasure Island.
Visitors should plan on spending at least a few nights at "Pleasure Island" as there are a handful of great clubs you need to visit before you leave. These range from the "Mannequins Dance Palace", which has a rotating dance floor, to the Rock and Roll Beach Club.
Is country music your style? Don't worry they cater to country music fans too. The "Neon Armadillo" gives you the very best and latest of country music. If you want a blast from the past and to dance the night away with the music you grew up to, "8-Trax" is the place for you. It offers the very best from the 70's theme and it will definitely bring those good memories back.
After a night out dancing, chill out at the "Comedy Warehouse", which features live performances from today's best stand up comedians and is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud so much your sides begin to hurt. Or why not take a walk to the West End Outdoor stage where you can watch some of the latest and well known bands performing live gigs.
Every night as the clock strikes midnight, "Pleasure Island" goes crazy with fireworks and dancers performing. It will be a night to remember for sure.
