The sport of skiing has more facets than you can imagine. First of all, there is of course the traditional form which is generally practiced on predetermined and well-marked slopes. Most people seem to prefer powder skiing, however, because they can focus more on direction and riding at considerable speeds, while in the case of tree skiing the focus is set on attention and reflexes. Weather is of course a key factor in this sport and there are certain optimum year periods.
