When visiting a website, a visitor expects to be guided through the process of deciding to buy the product, instead of being stressed upon to buy it. It is a fact that when a website starts to get edgy and seems to be getting on to you to buy its stuff, the visitor eventually navigates away from the site. Why does he leave? Hey, if he can only find buttons that urge him to ‘Buy now’ without giving a sense of credibility and trust, he would definitely be doubtful in putting money into buying the product. So what do you need to increase sales? - STRONG call-to-actions.

If a strong call-to-action is missing, potential sales have been seen to be missed out big time. To prove that strong call-to-actions really work.

So what are STRONG call-to-actions?

Strong call-to-actions are buttons that,
* Have short simple phrases on them that tell the visitor what to do,
* Start with a verb,
* Are located at a noticeable position on the website,
* Are large in size and have an attractive color which catches the attention of the visitor,
* Are supported not crowded by alluring headlines, graphics and special offers,
* Tell the visitor exactly what will be looking at when he clicks the button.
* Have easy to find information specially Contact Information or the Contact Form.

By using such buttons you can make websites that are able to assist the site visitor in what do next.

So when your call-to-actions have phrases like ‘Read more’ or ‘Try it for FREE’ or ‘Browse’ or ‘Sign up for free’, Contact US, CALL NOW with number located at the right place, instead of just ‘Buy now’, you start building trust right away. Why? Because you as a website owner are not just being eager to get sales but you are also showing the visitor exactly what they are going to get. This way the visitor’s mind gets cleared off any doubts. And thus, there are more chances of increasing conversion rates.

Thus, even though site owners’ most favorite call-to-action may be ‘Buy Now’ but for higher conversion rates you must go for stronger call-to-actions that help the visitors to continue navigation and then buy your product.

Other then the Call to Actions, it is severely important to see the Bounce Rate you have on your website. You can get bounce rate statistics by installing Google Analytics on your website which gives you details statistics of total number of visits, hits, referrals, keywords and many more reports along with the Bounce Rate. If your bounce rate shows higher they probably means that your website is not very well laid out or otherwise the call to actions are not utilized properly. Then you should rethink and setup a new strategy and make changes to your website accordingly. This is very important if you really need success as otherwise you may be loosing your potential customers/subscribers at a great level.
