Search engine submission is how web master directly submits a website to a search engine such as Google, yahoo and MSN. This is done to add a new website for the operators or have a web page or website updated in the respective search engine. This is done one page at a time or the entire web page at ago. The entire one can be done using the sitemap. The procedure allows for crawling the site so long as it has it is well designed. The web content should be rendered to the most popular sites since they are the ones that are visited buy many people.

Many people desire that their websites appear at the top of the search results since people rarely look for more than one site for information. Page rank is the determination of the page value of an individual page. Google looks at the links and interrelation between more than one pages. It looks and analyses the pages which is the basis of the ranking. The votes that are cast by pages also determine the importance of a page against other sites. This is very important for marketing purposes since the higher the numbers of webpage visitors you get the higher the number of people who get the information about your website. Google is one of the search engine submission avenues that have link analysis of the internet. It entails content analysis and the quality of the content of the keyword use.

There are others such as Yahoo, MSN, Ask Jeeves, Altavista and Teoma. Each of these has their own unique features and people prefer them and use them differently. Google is the commonly used because of its high visitation. Google submission is easy and is free. All you need to do is submit to Google by sending your home page URL to Google which will be indexed. However if your page is new it might take sometime for Google to improve the page ranking. This might take three to six months. A newly presented site might take six to eight weeks to be indexed. Once it is rendered the it goes through the links for each page. The site pages are read through and key words picked. This is then saved on the catalog cache. Keeping all your pages linked to each other helps Google spider have easy access to all the related pages. You could also have a site map for each page.

Being ranked high is different from the indexing by spider bot. You can be ranked high but your site fails to get to the top ten pages because it looks at the quality of the web pages and links them to each other in order to get the most relevant results. Getting a successful optimization requires rendering of content that have a unique offer to the internet search. Ensure your keywords appear in the title, Meta tags, and in the content. Keep track of the rank listing popularity and if you have free offers then you should include them since they are the most looked for in most of the searches.
